Serving the Community for More Than 10 Years
Our Humble Beginnings
Auntie Vee's Kitchen was founded in 2012 when Navena Moore started selling gourmet desserts and pastries at a local farmer’s market—long before we became known for serving the best mac and cheese in Chicago’s northwest suburbs and the surrounding areas. After a year of receiving positive reviews and glowing praises from the public, we were able to branch out in 2013 by opening a food truck, which soon became our primary business location.
In 2015, we participated in the Mac and Cheese Fest, competing against renowned, high-profile restaurants and establishments like Michael Jordan’s Steak House, Noodles & Company, Connie’s Pizza, and many others. We surprised everyone when we won! We proudly took home the Golden Noodle for First Place in the Chicago Mac and Cheese category.
After the Mac and Cheese Fest, we expanded our menu with savory selections. We officially changed our name to Auntie Vee’s Kitchen in 2017 and began serving a complete menu of delectable dishes. Our menu features a wide variety of entrees, including our Jerk Chicken Protein Bowl served with garlic butter rice as a base and our award-winning mac and cheese.
You can order our food for drop-off or on-site catering, and you will even find us at various food festivals and pop-ups in Alpharetta, GA, and the Greater Atlanta Area. Join us as we continue our evolution and journey toward sweet and savory indulgence.
